Passing through many suspension bridges, lush green Bamboo forests crossing up's and down 5-6 hours a day passing Chhomrong village, Sinuwa , Bamboo, Dovan, Himalaya , Duarali then up high of Machhapuchhre Base Camp and to the trip’s last and final destination, Annapurna Base Camp at the height of 4130m. Day 01ARRIVALUpon arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport our office representative will welcome you with garland and transfer to hotel. Rest sometime and trek briefing follow by. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02DRIVE FROM KATHMANDU TO POKHARAAfter breakfast drive to Pokhara about 6hrs. Upon arrival checkin to hotel. Rest sometime and at evening visit Lakeside and have a boating on own. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03POKHARA TO GHANDRUKAfter breakfast drive for Nayapul from where the trek starts it normally take 1 hour 30 min drive to reach Nayapul. From Birethanti, we trek to Ghandruk, a beautiful village of Gurung community. If time permits, we can visit the Gurung museum today, overnight in Ghandruk.
Day 04GHANDRUK TO CHHOMRONGAfter breakfast, we trek for around an hour up to Kimrung danda. On the way, we can enjoy great views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhre) and Ganggapurna. A steep descent takes us to the Kimrong Khola. After another steep ascent from Kimrong Khola to Chere Danda, we descend for a while then it’s a gentle walk to Chhomrong. Chhomrong is a beautiful village located on the lap of the giant Annapurna massive. Overnight stay in Chhomrong.
Day 05CHHOMRONG TO BAMBOOAfter leaving Chhomrong the trail descends via 2500 stone steps and crosses the Chhomrong Khola on suspension bridge; it is an uphill climb to Sinuwa. Next, we pass through a beautiful forest to Kuldihar followed by an easy downhill walk to Bamboo. Overnight in Bamboo.
Day 06BAMBOO TO DEURALI The trail pass through the bamboo forests which is damp and cold then ascend steadily with fewer steep sections. It is only after reaching Himalaya Hotel that the forest opens up and we see sun again with astonishing views of the glacial river below. Trial leads to a steep climb through a much drier forest before reaching Hinku Cave. From here trail drop closer to the river before climbing again to Deurali, the most picturesque stretch of the day. Overnight in Deurali.
Day 07DEURALI TO ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP VIA MACHHAPUCHHRE BASE CAMPThe hike from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp is somewhat exhausting. From Machhapuchhre base camp majestic views can be seen of Machhapuchhre along with Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna which is certainly a rewarding experience. The vegetation disappears on our way to ABC and the path widens as we enter the Annapurna sanctuary. From here, we get breathtaking views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna towering above us. The sanctuary boasts of a dynamic view without anything obstructing the 360-degree panorama. From the base camp we again get to savor mesmerizing views of the Machhapuchhre, Annapurna south, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and other peaks. Overnight at Annapurna Base Camp.
Day 08ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP TO BAMBOOFrom the Annapurna base camp we trek back to Bamboo. Today’s trek is downhill so it shouldn’t be very difficult. Overnight stay at Bamboo.
Day 09BAMBOO TO JHINU DANDAFrom Bamboo, it is an uphill trek to Kuldighar followed by a downhill walk to Chhomrong Khola. Afterwards we climb the stone steps to Chhomrong then the trail descends to Jhinu Danda, where we will be resting for the night. One enjoy hot springs just 15-20 minute downhill walk from Jhinu Danda to appease our aching body. Overnight in Jhinu Danda.
Day 10JHINUDANDA TO NAYAPULTO POKHARA On our way to Naya Pul from Jhinu Danda we can enjoy amazing hill landscape of western Nepal. Lunch will be arranged on the way. After reaching NayaPul we board our vehicle to Pokhara. Rest of the day will be free to explore lakeside area overnight in Pokhara
Day 11POKHARA TO KATHMANDU After breakfast take flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu transfer to hotel. We enjoy the day leisurely or catch up on some last minute shopping or explore any landmarks we missed during our first day in Kathmandu. To celebrate the successful completion of our journey,we will have a farewell dinner in the evening. Overnight
Day 12DEPARTUREMorning will be comparatively free and closer to the time of your flight; you will be transferred to the airport in time to board your flight for onward journey.
